I don't know what to say and honestly I've never been good at these things, but I'm going to try this for her because she meant a lot to me. I'll keep it short.

Amber Nicole Gokey, known on Furcadia as Adema, died on the 20th of November, victim of a car accident yesterday. It came a shock to everyone that knew her, as these things do.

She was one of my good friends, a member of and the one who introduced me to the conference. Hell, she introduced me to many of the great friends I met on there. She was a sweet girl, cooky and funny and spontaneous. Whenever she came on the conference, it was expected that the tempo would rise into hyper-activity. She's was just a blast to be around.

And I miss her.

I'll be finishing the portrait she was waiting on from me. Just because.
